Location & Working Pattern
This is a full-time, office-based role in Oxford (OX4), Monday to Friday. Fridays are work-from-home days. Only candidates who can commit to this schedule will be considered. A comfortable commuting distance will be considered, but our preference is that the candidate is based in Oxford, or the close surrounding area. There is no parking on-site so candidates will have to use public transport or cycle/walk to the office.
Our Tech Stack
We primarily do our work in the cloud, using AWS and GCP. We typically receive large volumes of data from our clients, which we process into a suitable format for further analysis.
Some clients may request data to be stored in their own environment, but this is rare, and the data will mostly be cloud-based.
About the Role
Job Title: Junior Project Manager
Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience
This role is for an aspiring Project Manager who is eager to learn how to develop and refine project management processes, assist in managing technical projects end-to-end, and grow toward operating independently with confidence. A central part of this role involves interacting closely with our clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
In this role, you will not only track project progress, but also develop your technical acumen to understand project intricacies, learn how to identify potential issues before they arise, and ensure our solutions consistently meet our client's requirements.
If you have a strong interest in project management, excellent communication skills, and a drive to help shape and enhance our project management approach, we want to hear from you! While a project management background is great, we also highly value equivalent experience as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, or Product Owner within a tech environment, as these perspectives are vital to how we deliver for our clients.

- Project Management: Take full ownership of multiple projects simultaneously. Expertly coordinate sprints, facilitate daily stand-ups, and ensure timely delivery within scope. Drive the creation and refinement of project management processes and workflows. - Process Support & Documentation: You will help support and optimize our project management workflows by ensuring our tools are used effectively. This involves using Jira to meticulously track progress, manage day-to-day tasks, and report on project status to keep stakeholders informed. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining Confluence pages, ensuring that process documentation, project updates, and best practices are clear, organized, and easily accessible for the entire team. - Client Engagement: Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. - Team Coordination: Foster effective communication and collaboration within the development team. Manage and prioritise team requests, organise meetings, and ensure alignment with project goals. - Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of quality for all deliverables. Conduct regular reviews to ensure project outputs meet or exceed expectations. - Project Team Management: Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members. Guide and support team members in achieving project goals and professional growth.
